Or did the failure occur during the transfer? SCP protocol does not support files over 4 GiB (32-bit boundary), while SFTP and FTP support them. It lets me download files and then reupload, just not move them around. More about the author WinSCP reports this message for all servers using SFTP v3 by default, regardless whether there is a bug or not.
I have changed default protocol rom SFTP to SCP and then it worked . Am I safe to assume that it is the issue on the client's end? Then you could use WinSCP or any other GUI based ssh software to manage the device. (Please, no comments about how dangerous this is. By looking at it (also included below) it seems that it fails during the close event, and that the file, in fact, did transfer successfully.
