Appears that in resetting the drive letter whatever got corrupted during the Norton removal was fixed. have a peek here

I should have changed the letter assignments for the empty drives, as they were the ones that weren't being detected. Unfortunately I can not remeber which one. The OS may be scanning for ANY time of storage device (including USB Hard Drives, Flash Drives etc.)Removing the card reader got rid of the error. It worked for me. No Disk Error Windows 7 It solved the problem and my system is virus free now. i only had to change the one letter from the usb drive which triggered the error popup. By a process of elimination I discovered that it would only appear when my card reader was plugged into a USB port.
Just before this event I noticed the software looking for a file on C:\ then D:\ ,etc. you can try this out HIGo to each user profile Control Panel/select Administrative tools then Computer Management/ Disk managementmake sure all drives are cleared except for c:/Then in administrative user once cleared reloaded the program that Windows No Disk Error Removal Tool Course now I gotta reinstall the printer software, but that's okay.Thanks for the input. Tried the drive letter changes but no luck. Hello! I left out an entire word...Try this online scanner.
