Clearing the Open recent memory is the better solution. You are a kind soul! I don't know how I'm going to do possible future QT encodings, or what other media player provides frame-by-frame forward and reverse capabilities.If I ever re-install QT, I'll try to remember The hard drive is still in tact, and programs work, it is just an annoying message popping up all of the time.
