I discovered the correct zip code for Knoxville, TN by searching multiple on-line TV guides and the 37909 zip code appeared to be the correct, or best working zip code. The issue was easy to see when opening the guide which looked a lot like the screenshot below. If you find a zip code that works won't you know by the simple fact that you are able to proceed with the TV Signal Detection? ROVI left the Shreveport area channels out of the list for my zip code so WMC only scanned for the Longview and Tyler stations. But I don't know if that was just luck, since I had been messing with it for a while trying various things. Check This Out Hopefully they will fix the listings and I can rerun the setup.

What a relief! With regards to the question of whether my recordings were lost or not: the shows which had already been recorded were still on my drives so they were re-identified. I really enjoy the ability to have a VCR-like functionality that I don't need to pay someone else a monthly fee to provide. Still scratching my head on that one!
