Windows Update Error 78f Office 2010 Sp2


Disable all USB Hub controller on Computer Manage\ Device Manager fix the 1935 error. I tried with absolutely all applications killed (running apps window was blank except for Window Update)... Quite frankly, I can't be bothered (and shouldn't have to!!!!) format my machine to get an Office update to install.... Tried full download/install, removing all .Net and any other fix I've read about apart from the only one which seems to work which is a complete OS reinstall. navigate here

A real simple workaround can be tried. Examine the createdlog files and search for Error 1935. it worked... As per Microsoft the issue is caused when Windows Installer encounters a reference to a drive that no longer exists, or to a removable media device that contains no readable media.
